I am a fifty-something Aspergian. I grew up in Farnham, Surrey and first started going to AFC matches as an eleven-year-old.
I’ve recently rediscovered my passion for The Shots and decided to resume going to matches home and away.
I am a whizz with computers and geeky stuff so it was almost inevitable that I would use my free time to develop a website for ATFC fans an alternative to social media.
I link posts to the ShotsWeb forum and it’s nice to see that many read my features, though it would be even better if they commented or liked some of the writing.
The purpose of Calling The Shots is to promote the club better than the official Shots websitr and the board seem to be doing.
At away games particularly I speak to a lot of the fans and learn about their views on current matters.
I’m hoping that this season will be one that sees us stave off relegation and that the talked-of plans of ground regeneration take place.
Aldershot Town football club is living in the past and deserves a decent future; I want to do as much as I can in helping it achieve that.
