Ollie O’Dwyer has today left the club by mutual consent for personal reasons.

The defender made two appearances for the club having signed in June on this year from Crystal Palace on a free transfer.

Manager Danny Searle has explained the situation.

He said: “We’ve decided to part company, I think it’s best for both parties.

“He’s got some stuff he needs to sort out for himself, and we need to give him the time to do that.

“He goes with our very best wishes.”

ORIGINALLY…

O’Dwyer joined the Shots in June 2019 and along with Kodi Lyons-Foster, was Manager Danny Searle’s first signing for the club. He joined from Crystal Palace where he was a regular, dominant face in their U23 side.

He joined the Eagles from Reading as an Under-16 back in 2013 and in his time at the club helped the U23 squad win the Professional Development League 2 title. He is described as an imposing defender who is also good on the ball.
