FACup: 4th Rnd Q – Aldershot Town Vs Woking

Amicable my backside! 🀣

Anyway this was how we lined up today.

Matt Jarvis. Remember him? Not so long ago he was in the same West Ham team as Stewart Downing. McCormack starts for us and it looks a strong front three.

The strong two below were watching from the States, Orlando to be exact and they agreed that this happy snap could be shown here.

Usually when Aldershot lose, I look for positives. If there aren’t any readily available I at least try to retain enthusiasm.

Today I can’t and judging from the opinions shared on social media I don’t think others were very impressed either.

Fact there are many angry dissenting voices out there, saying why couldn’t we have shown that fight during the game and not after it?

I’m not seeing pictures so I don’t know but the upshot seems to be that Woking wanted it more and WE did nothing after scoring do early.

So here’s the timeline match-feed and time now to luck our wounds and prepare for a National League home game against Torquay at the EBB on Tuesday next.
